I know there are a ton of games out there already, from miniatures to tile game, that use this format. It&#8217;s a great shape. The polygonal shape lends itself to multi-sides, equal spacing when used for travel, and tessellation which create great patterns.<\/p>\n<p>Trying to narrow the use of hex tiles or cards to a single game theme or mechanic seems to be the issue, so I&#8217;ve come up with a sure-fire solution; why pick when I can just create a game box that has 6 games in 1. 6 sides x 6 games = 6 times the fun&#8230; well, mathematically it&#8217;s actually 36 times the fun. Yeah! 36x the fun. Or I can just position it as 6 sides! 6 games! 6x the fun! I&#8217;ll see what flies.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Just a thought.
